Season Opener - April 28-29, 2001



I just finished the MSF IPW last weekend, and I couldn't get my act 
together after a week of unholy stress to get the newly required inline 
four case covers crap set up and get my butt up to the track.

I did go up for a brief visit Saturday afternoon with Dane. That was fun.  
Ann looked splufty in her fancy new leathers, and she looked good on the
track, too. The "new" motor that we put in during our little Engine Party
in February seems to be working out well for her. 

I did hit and miss corner working throughout the afternoon, just showing
up when I heard about big stuff on the radio. (I wasn't Officially There.)
Also rode Ann's little dirt bike around and even learned to kick start it
without help. :) We'll have to keep Dane off that thing, or he'll wind up
wheelying with his right hand on the throttle, his left hand holding a
beer, and another 6 months of riding prohibition afterwards from his
orthopedic surgeon.
