Endurance Weekend - August 30-31, 2003


Nils' bike was still running like crap.  I corner worked while Kevin and
John tore down the carbs over and over and over again, and finally
installed new plugs and a fuel filter. (That's my 4th set of plugs in 3
weekends.)  Didn't crash, but probably wouldn't have made it through 8
laps - bike started messing up at finish, but I'd gotten lapped before the
checker so I only ever completed 7 laps. 

Meanwhile, Jackie was dead set on doing the endurance race, so we did, on
Tom Hemeon's bike. Broad Squad Endurance got bigger this year, with
Jackie, Lorna, Katelyn, Glen, and Rob riding along with me. Jackie and
Jeri organized the whole thing, and Lorna made up wicked cool t-shirts.
I'm not sure who acquired the panties, but they were a nice addition to
Glen's leathers. Katelyn looked better in them, though.

Nobody crashed, and our best times in the endurance were: Glen - 1:24,
Lorna - 1:39, Kit - 1:35, Jackie - 1:38, Rob - 1:28, Katelyn - 1:33.
